Transylvania Times staff members and United Way of Transylvania County (UWTC) staff and board members celebrate community partnerships and kick-off UWTC’s annual workplace giving campaign with Squirrel Bear, the paper’s mascot.
United Way of Transylvania County (UWTC) recently celebrated the kick-off off its 2020 workplace giving campaign with staff members of The Transylvania Times. UWTC plans to create more “mini-flash” celebrations with other community partners throughout the county.
“We’re thankful to The Transylvania Times for its long-time support of United Way of Transylvania County. Our local newspaper is a key partner in United Way’s work to connect neighbors in need, neighbors who have a plan, and neighbors who can lend a hand,” explained Louis Negrón, Chief Executive Officer for United Way of Transylvania County.
“United Way of Transylvania County’s community partnerships with businesses, individuals and other organizations create a system that’s informed and responsive to changing needs and opportunities.” Negrón added.
