UWTC and Perfect Balance Rally Small Businesses

Maggie Whitman, Physician Liaison and Director of Marketing for Perfect Balance Physical Therapy, reviews the information sheet for Perfect Balances third annual Small Business Rally sponsorship for United Way.

United Way and Perfect Balance Rally Small Businesses

United Way of Transylvania County (UWTC) and Perfect Balance Physical Therapy (PBPT) partner to present the third annual Small Business Rally for UWTC. The rally provides small businesses with an opportunity to show public support of local United Way programs and initiatives.

Starting March 1, PBPT has pledged a dollar-for-dollar match for the first 10 businesses that join the Small Business Rally for the first time with a $150 pledge. These matches effectively double the impact of each investment in United Way’s local programs and initiatives.

"One of the most important things we can do as small business owners is to invest in the community we serve. A healthy community of individuals is essential to a healthy small business community. Perfect Balance’s mission aligns so well with United Way of Transylvania County’s mission to empower people to improve their lives,” explained Perfect Balance owner, Dawn Rouse, PT, CWT, CMPTP.

“Dawn Rouse and her entire team at Perfect Balance Physical Therapy truly exemplify the nature of LIVE UNITED. Their passion for care supports our community and Perfect Balance’s matching funds generate important financial support for local programs helping local people. Rallying together, small businesses can create BIG change,” said Saunders Grommesh, Resource Development Director for UWTC.

Small Business Rally participating businesses are visible in a variety of ways, including in print and social media, a page on UWTC’s website, United Way event recognition, and more. Interested parties should contact Grommesh at 828-882-8822 or UnitedWayTC3@comporium.net  for details on joining the rally.

Dual Celebration

The 3rd Annual “Small Business Rally” is a dual celebration, as PBPT celebrates its 2-year anniversary at the 59 Oakdale Street location. While Rouse has served the Transylvania County community for 15+ years, she is especially proud of the way that PBPT’s space serves the community’s needs.

Rouse will welcome other Small Business Rally participants at the networking reception at Perfect Balance’s Brevard office Tuesday, March 20, at 5:30.
