Eat Local Shop Local Supports Businesses and Neighbors

Eat Local Shop Local 2019, focused on keeping things local, charted a record number of 66 sponsors participating in the event. Eateries and shops throughout the county, including locations in Brevard, Cedar Mountain, Lake Toxaway, Pisgah Forest, and Rosman, worked together with their customers to donate a portion of sales on June 15 to United Way of Transylvania County.

“Businesses and their customers all across the entire county were very supportive of Eat Local Shop Local this year. Their support helps United Way of Transylvania County help people in all of our local communities develop a safe, healthy life for their families,” explained Dick Benson, Resource Development Chair for UWTC.
