A volunteer Board of Directors and professional staff members ensure that United Way of Transylvania County is working effectively and efficiently to empower people to improve their lives. Volunteers play an important role in all of our community efforts.

United Way of Transylvania County Allocations Team members (all community volunteers) review applications from non-profit agencies serving Transylvania County to determine the best use of funds to generate the greatest community impact in the areas of health, education and financial stability.
