For the past two decades, SAFE, Inc. of Transylvania County (SAFE) and Pisgah Legal Service (PLS) have partnered to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families escape abuse. The Domestic Violence Prevention Partnership helps domestic violence and sexual assault victims with the urgent need for safety from their abusers and to build their lives in the long term. With free legal assistance and support services, domestic violence survivors can become independent and stable, helping to break the cycle of abuse by teaching their children self-respect and self-reliance in an environment free of abuse in which they can flourish.
