The United Way has three levels of awards that are given to companies, based on employee participation in the campaign:
Gold Award – given to those companies with at least 80% employee participation AND at least $75 per capita (FTE) giving.
Silver Award – given to those companies with at least 70% employee participation AND at least $50 per capita (FTE) giving.
Chair Bronze Award – given to those companies with at least 60% employee participation AND at least $35 per capita (FTE) giving.
United Way of Transylvania County also presents Awards to the highest participants in the
Annual Eat Out - Shop Out Event.
